| Continuing on the saga of the road trip, by the way if your bored already just go look at the pictures or just leave the site altogether. Anyway continuing on, I flew Anson out to California on the 28th after returning from a two week trip to Korea. He had some nifty experiences on the way out with some old guy (or girl?) yea, its San Fran. Anyway he flew out and arrived at 12pm, earlier that day the right rear wheel cylinder went out and so as soon as he arrived we got to work fixing that. I had brought home tons of chocolate from Asia so by the time we got done we were well on our way to being wired.
We thought about starting out right away since I had something of a deadline to getting myself and the Volkswagen out to Chicago but since I hadn’t slept in 36 hours and Anson’s just a wus, we decided to sleep in California. We left my normal home at the top of the SFO parking garage, (try peeing off there if you get a chance, 7 stories, it’s a rush) and drove down to half moon bay to spend the first night in a school parking lot.

| As cool as a Volkswagen Bus may look from the outside and however many stories you may have been told about how they can house a family of six, I can assure you that unless you are on the most intimate terms with your bus-mate sleeping in a VW isn’t that comfy. I don’t know maybe it was just the fact that Anson snored, farted and generally acted like an ass.
Anyway enough of that, we spent the night, actually got a little sleep and woke the next morning with the sound of Anson letting go of his airline food ingested the day before. Ok enough fart talk. Anyway, we woke up, brushed our teeth and ate some horrible things that called themselves pasteries. Breakfast complete, we marked the odometer at 57785 and set out into the future.
