Ride for Courage is a fundraiser for Camp Courageous, however for us its more than that. Both Liz and Giles work at Camp and for them this is a way of saying thank you to the people with disabilities we work with everyday. Who, despite their disabilities live and love life, and have taught both of us to do the same.
The ride starts in Huntington Beach, California on the outskirts of Los Angeles. On the first day our route takes us down the Cali. coast to San Diego. From there we head east over to Yuma, AZ. That much will take up the first week. From Yuma we continue across Arizona where we hope to spend Christmas near Mt. Lemmon. Then its on into New Mexico and then into Texas. Once in texas we cut strait across above San Antonio, over to Beaumont and then its on to Louisiana. Its not Mardi Gras but we'll stop through New Orleans anyway. As soon as we have had enough of Louisiana, it's on to Mississippi and Alabama and finally Florida.
